Playing hooky

An oldie from Cryptoman:

"There's no pleasure in having nothing to do; the fun is in having lots to do and not doing it."

What's your favorite way to play hooky? (You can tell what mine is from the image!)

A good book and some knitting.
Or a road trip.
Or a major exciting hack and slash computer game with my guy.

I'd say crocheting, but since one way or another it has to do my books,I don't think it counts as playing hooky.

I'd definitely agree with Trek's road trip idea.

Sorry. I don't know why that posted twice.

It's hard to find something that doesn't end up "research!"
Even at the movies I'm watching for plot points.

I think it's hopeless!

Reading a book someone else wrote, rather than sweating over what's gonna happen next in my own!
(Heck, there are days I'd rather clean the oven than write)
