Thank you to Linda O. Johnston for inviting me to take part in the blog hop. Due to unforseen circumstances I wasn’t able to line up five other authors to hop to. So, it looks like I’m the last hop.
Everyone on the blog hop have been answering the same questions.

HERE ARE THE QUESTIONS

What is the working title of your book?

It is the actual title and I really had two releases last Tuesday. Behind the Seams (crochet mystery #6) came out for the first time in paperback. If Hooks Could Kill (crochet mystery #7) came out in hardcover.

Where did the idea for the book come from?

The back story for If Hooks Could Kill grew out of my neighbors renting out their house to a film crew.

What genre does your book fall under?

I would describe my books as cozy craft mysteries

Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

I thought of Debra Messing for Molly Pink, partly because I understand she does yarn craft. Christopher Meloni would be great as Barry Greenberg. Simon Baker could play Mason Fields. As for Adele, somebody suggested Kathy Bates.
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
Molly Pink and the Tarzana Hookers take on the case when a crime show film set becomes a real murder scene.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

The crochet mysteries are published by Berkley Prime Crime.

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

I have about six months to do the whole thing. I usually spend about a month just writing the synopis.

What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

I write the only crochet series, but there a number of series about knitting. Maggie Sefton writes one of them. Monica Ferris writes about all different needle and yarn crafts.

Who or What inspired you to write this book?

The crochet series grew out of my own desire to learn how to crochet. I have learned so much about crochet and yarn since that first book. I love to crochet and it is such a joy to write a series that includes it.

What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
I include at least one pattern and one recipe in every book. The patterns and recipes are always involved with the story.
