Ending October

This is my last post of October.  Halloween, the end of the month, is next Monday.

It's been an interesting month.  Some of it was good, like the publication of my third Superstition Mystery UNLUCKY CHARMS.  I've had fun getting out there with it, on a blog tour and visiting bookstores to sign copies and posting on Facebook--all my usual stuff.  That part has been fun, though I haven't emphasized that this is probably the last in this series.  That still remains unclear, but at this point, I'm not under contract for number four.

And then... well, I don't have to mention here the worst part of the month, but I will anyway.  Those of you reading this probably saw my post last week about losing my older dog Lexie.  I suppose the sorrow will start to ease up but for now it's still strongly there.

Anyhow, I've mentioned before and I'll mention again that this year is going fast--only two more months to go.  We're already discussing holiday plans and suspect you and your family are too.   And after that?  It'll be 2017 already.  Wow--time is going fast!

For now, scare a few people on Halloween if you can, have fun giving out some treats.  And enjoy what's left of October.

What a mixed month it's been for you. I know how hard it is to manage doing things when you have a heavy heart about Lexie.

I hope November is better.

Thanks, Betty. I'm full of plans and ideas for November, so that should help.
