April has
arrived, and I've begun promoting my latest upcoming mystery, BAD TO THE
BONE. It's the third in my Barkery &
Biscuits Mysteries, and it'll be published in May.
As always,
I'll be doing a bunch of things to let the world know about it: conferences,
personal appearances, and whatever else seems appropriate.
For one
thing, I'll be participating in a Great Escapes Virtual Book Tour. That involves some bloggers on the tour
reviewing the book on their sites, and others doing spotlights. Then there are the parts I provide: online
interview responses and also blog posts.
So far, I've finished the interviews and am currently working on writing
my own blog posts for the various scheduled sites.
I've done
these blog tours before and find them enjoyable--and, hopefully, productive in
getting the word out.
I'm also
doing other guest blogs and more, including attending Malice Domestic. Be sure to say hi if you're there! The topic of my panel there won't surprise
anyone who knows my work: The "Paws" That Detect: Animal Sidekicks!
By the way,
I also joined Authors for Libraries and have a page up there that includes a
quote about my opinion of libraries:

It sounds like you have some interesting events ahead. I love the cover.
I intend to help make those events interesting! And I really like this cover, too.
