Blogging About Blogging

I've blogged at Killer Hobbies before about blogging here and elsewhere.  This is one of those times that I'm fairly busy with it.  I'll soon be starting Great Escapes Blog Tour for my second Superstition Mystery, KNOCK ON WOOD, which is an October release.

And today is September 30, the last day of September.  This year is certainly going quickly!

The scheduled blog tour contains posts from me but also reviews of my new book.  As a result, I don't have to blog every day of the tour, but around five times in the couple of weeks the tour lasts.

I've also been invited to blog on other people's sites not affiliated with the tour, and I've of course said yes.  How could I resist?

Plus, with the new month comes my commitment to post at my usual, scheduled blogs: the 6th of the Month for A Slice of Orange, the blog for the Orange County Chapter of Romance Writers of America, the first Monday of the month for Midnight Ink, plus the 18th of the month at Killer Characters--not to mention my continuing to blog here at Killer Hobbies every Wednesday.

Meantime, I turned in the manuscript for Superstition Mystery #3 yesterday, and I'm now working on a new Harlequin Romantic Suspense book.  I can't give up all other writing to blog.

But blog writing is different from fiction writing.  Here, I'm not in a character's head making things up as I go along.  I'm in my own head, and I'm pretty much sticking to the truth--at least as I see it!  It's not fictional dogs I'm writing about, but how my own two pups inspire me to write and keep me company while I'm doing it.
Anyway, in case you can't tell, I enjoy blogging--and other kinds of writing, too.

See you back here next week, I hope.  In fact, I'll knock on wood about it.  And, BTW, my blog tour starts on October 8.
