New Superstition Mystery

It's October!  The seventh, to be precise.

That means tomorrow is the official publication date for my second Superstition Mystery, KNOCK ON WOOD.

I blogged last week about blogging, including my upcoming Great Escapes Blog Tour which, not especially coincidentally, also starts tomorrow.  The first post there about KNOCK ON WOOD will be a review from Lisa K's Book Reviews.  I'm also being interviewed by Omnimystery tomorrow, but not as part of the blog tour.

Before that--yes, tonight!--I'll be chatting on Writerspace about my new release and whatever other topics arise.  Online chats seem to veer in different directions, which is usually fun.  Come join me there at 9PM Eastern time--which means 6PM my time here in L.A.

And, yes, I'll be doing more to introduce the world to KNOCK ON WOOD, and I'm knocking on wood that it's all successful.  I'll be at the Burbank Library on October 17 for the Local Authors Showcase, and at an event at the North Hollywood Lit Crawl on October 21, and doing more online stuff, too.

I'm sure I've said it before, but when I started writing and publishing I thought that was all there was to it.  But that was before social media was so strong.  I'm actually having fun online and otherwise getting out there and talking about my books.

In case you're wondering, and because I'm supposed to blog about pets here on Killer Hobbies, I'm delighted to say there are animals in the Superstition Mysteries, including Rory's lucky black and white dog Pluckie, as well as other dogs... and, yes, black cats.

I of course consider my own dogs lucky, whether or not a tricolor Cavalier (black, white and red) or a Blenheim (red and white) fits within any superstition.

Anyway, as a result of the activities I've mentioned and more, and also because I'm writing Superstition Mysteries, my fingers are crossed that I sell some books.  Meantime, I'd better get back to my writing!
