Bye to 2016!

Yep, this is it: my last post here on Killer Hobbies for 2016.

It's been quite a year.  On the broader front, we lost a lot of celebrities.  Our election was one incredible controversy, and what happens next will undoubtedly be fascinating to see.  I hope it's ultimately good fascinating rather than bad.

Personally, some bad stuff happened.  We lost my amazing m-i-l--not anticipated when it happened.  We did expect to lose our dear older dog Lexie, but it was still difficult.

Professionally, I had three books published: To Catch a Treat, my second Barkery and Biscuits Mystery; Covert Alliance, a Harlequin Romantic Suspense novel; and Unlucky Charms, the second Superstition Mystery.  I also have more to come in upcoming years, always a good thing, and I've been working on some of them to meet their deadlines.

We're planning on some more family get-togethers in the next few weeks, so that's a good thing, too.  But that'll be in the new year.

I suspect a lot of us will be glad to see 2016 end.  How about you?

Happy 2017!
