A good book and some knitting.Or a road trip.Or a major exciting hack and slash computer game with my guy.
I'd say crocheting, but since one way or another it has to do my books,I don't think it counts as playing hooky.I'd definitely agree with Trek's road trip idea.

It's hard to find something that doesn't end up "research!"Even at the movies I'm watching for plot points.I think it's hopeless!
Reading a book someone else wrote, rather than sweating over what's gonna happen next in my own!(Heck, there are days I'd rather clean the oven than write)
