The show in Saint Paul was a medium-size one with dozens of vendors and lots of quilts on display. I didn't get a chance to wander around much, but, as usual, I was struck by the creativity that goes into modern quilt making.

Here I am in my current favorite signing outfit, pen at the ready, prepared to sign. That hat is even bigger than it looks.

And this is the quilt that won the most awards - note the ribbons hanging on it. I am ignorant enough about quilting that I couldn't say why. I thought this other quilt was quite as beautiful.

What a nice picture of you.
What beautiful quilts! Friday I get to go to the Okla City Guild quilt show, always the biggest in town for the year.
Love the hat!
