Happy Turkey Day

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are having a wonderful day. Studies show that gratitude makes you happier, so let's get to it.

Today when I was taking my nice hot shower, the hot water felt so good sluicing down my back, I gave out a big thank you. I know how lucky I am to have hot water at my disposal and I appreciate it every time.

Other things I am thankful for:

People who buy books and read blogs. Thanks, fans!
Fans who send emails. Love them all.
Coffee shops that allow me to hang out on the dregs of one cup of coffee for hours and hours.
Libraries for their vast collection of books and DVDs and helpful people.
My publishers, Midnight Ink, for their well thought out launch of MONKEY WRENCH next spring.
Apple for making products that bring me so much pleasure.
The woman in the turkey hat for making me laugh.
Relatives for reminding me who I am and who I could be.
Cable TV shows. Shows like Homeland,Mad Men, Justified and Sons of Anarchy are so satisfying. Love spending time with the characters.

Those are a few of my faves. What are yours?

Seeing what everyone else is thankful for helps to spark me to realize even more people and stuff that I'm thankful for. This day is wonderful!

I try to keep my thankfulness to more than Thanksgiving. Like everyday.
