Read Humane May

It’s May.  Read Humane has begun!

Read Humane is the program started by the Penguin Group (USA), parent company to Berkley Prime Crime.  The Penguin Group has donated a substantial amount of money to the Humane Society of the United States’ Animal Rescue Team and has reissued books by several authors, including me, with a special Read Humane logo on the cover plus information inside about the program—and how to learn more.

If you can’t tell, I’m proud to say I’m one of the authors.  I saw a couple others of us at Malice Domestic last weekend—Miranda James and Rebecca M. Hale. Others include Alison Pace and Sofie Kelly. And Nora Roberts is the program’s spokesperson!

There are special displays in some Barnes & Noble stores and perhaps others as well.

The idea is to let people know about the Humane Society of the United States and encourage them to contribute to them and volunteer... and to read, of course.

 So… Read Humane!
