I think that this retro 1950 book cover is so adorable. I found in on Janet Rudolph's newsy site: http://mysteryreadersinc.blogspot.com/. It's a good reminder to visit your local library or bookstore and pick up something to read. Now that winter is coming - and here on the East End of Long Island we got a glimpse of it last week - BRRRR - it's a wonderful time to brew a cup of tea, curl up on the couch or in your favorite comfy chair and lose yourself in another world.
While you're at it, subscribe to the Mystery Reader site. Everyday I get inspirational postings like this, information about new books like the one a few days ago about Beau Riffenburg's new book Pinkerton's Great Detective, you know, the one who caught Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,and the latest news on Masterpiece Mystery series, like Downtown Abby - back this January!, not to mention Snoopy cartoons. As a writer and lover of all things mystery, I think you'll find it worthwhile!
