I finished the edits of SEAMS LIKE MURDER, the tenth crochet mystery. The last thing I did was make the recipes again to tweak them. This time I included my recipe for Vegetable Stew and Molly’s Delicious Drop Biscuits. I was going to take pictures of the finished products, but it tasted so good and we were so hungry, we ate it right away.
And then with a click, the manuscriptwent through cyberspace to my editor.
Now, it is back to GONE WITH THE WOOL. Instead of crocheting, I’m dealing with knitting with a loom. I have a whole selection of them and am looking forward to seeing what I can do with them.
Right now I’m in Las Vegas for more training for my other profession. I’m hoping to grab some time to play with this small loom. I tried using it in the car on the drive here. Not a good idea. I couldn’t read the directions because of the bumpy ride. I tried working without the directions and the bouncing got in the way of that, too.
The funny thing is you don’t need to know how to knit to use a knitting loom, but you still have to figure out how to use the loom. I know once I get it down how to wind the yarn around the knobs, it will be easy, but for now it is still confusing.
Right now, I’m too tired to think about it. There’s always tomorrow.

Enjoyed your post this week as usual, Betty, but the part that particularly struck me was your click resulting in your manuscript going through cyberspace. It's so much fun to be able to do that these days! Enjoy Las Vegas--and your knitting loom.
It's great that there's always something new to learn--for you, your characters, and your readers!
Linda, isn't it amazing to be able to send a manuscript that way. So much better than rushing to FedEX.
Planner, yes, I find it fascinating to go from being mystified at how to do something and being able to do it with ease or maybe the word is with confidence.
