And I'm not
necessarily glad.
The
remainder of my family leaves today after a two-week visit. I've gotten almost no writing or anything
else done, but it was worth it to be with them.
And to enjoy things with them that I wouldn't have done otherwise.
For
example, we went to Disneyland on Monday, and
I hadn't been there for years. It was
fun just being there, and seeing things through young kids' eyes, kids who knew
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Goofy, Buzz Lightyear, Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore
and lots of other related characters through TV and books, was even more fun!
On the
other hand, I've been saving up a lot of things I need to do, including edits,
writing and more.
I'll miss
them. I'll want to see them again as
soon as possible. But for now, I'll dive
back in and do what I've been putting off.

The time with your family is irreplaceable. Now that you are back to normal, I'm sure you will make up for any lost time.
