It's the
second week of February, and this is my second Killer Hobbies post for the
month--and February is the second month of the year. The number two is circulating through my mind
a lot right now.
For one
thing, I'm going to two conferences this month.
This
weekend I'm going to New York City
for an event held by the Dog Writers Association of America: a seminar and an
awards ceremony. If you've read my blogs
and Facebook posts, you'll know that my first Barkery & Biscuits Mystery
BITE THE BISCUIT is a finalist in the fiction category for the DWAA's Maxwell
Awards. I'm looking forward to meeting
even more people who love to write about dogs there.
Then, later
this month, I'm going to Left Coast Crime in Phoenix .
There, I'll be on a panel called 4-Legged Sidekicks. Yes, I'll be talking about dogs there, too.
I'm sure
it's no surprise to any of you that I love dogs!
There's
even a dog in my latest release... well, re-release. My time travel romance THE BALLAD OF JACK
O'DAIR is now available as an e-book on Amazon.
And Jack has a wolf-dog named Taku.
Oops, my
dogs are giving me another order to take them outside...
Hope you're
all having a fun February, too.

Have great time in New York, but be prepared to freeze. I just heard the high is supposed to be zero.
Yikes! I've seen several different forecasts and they're all cold, but most aren't that cold!
You have an effect on is totally appreciative and full of interest.
Cindy
Wasp dudes! Amazing stuff continues the good work.
