Apology

Okay, I explained some of what's been going on in my life when I last posted here two weeks ago.

And then what?  Well, I have to admit it.  I forgot to post my blog here last week.

Why?  Yes, I'm still busy, but the end is somewhat in sight.  However, to some extent I blame it on my Great Escapes Virtual Blog Tour for Pick and Chews, my fourth Barkery & Biscuits Mystery.  Oh, it's really my fault, but part of the reason was that as part of the tour I had to prepare several posts of my own and also respond to interview questions, sometimes as myself and sometimes as my protagonist Carrie, and even as her dog Biscuit.  I'd written some before I left on my longish trip a few weeks ago and had to do the rest on my return--so I was focusing on those blogs and not the others I'm committed to do.  Like this one.

And the tour itself?  It was wonderful!

So what else?  I'm still not completely over the flu or whatever, so maybe I can blame some on that, too.

But really, it's all on me.  So... I apologize.  And thanks to all of you for understanding... assuming you do!

Anyway... I'm back!  And still busy.  And happy to be part of Killer Hobbies.  My dogs, too.

And... Just have to mention that I received two copies of a British magazine in the mail yesterday--Dog Monthly.  I couldn't be more thrilled.  I'd been told by one of the editors that they were considering doing a review of Pick and Chews in an upcoming issue--and it turned out to be the July issue, which was what was sent to me.  The review it contained was delightful.  And there's more.  I was really excited when I opened the envelope containing the copies.  Coincidentally, the cover dog was a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel--my breed!
