Late Entry

Oops!  I was busy working on MURDER INK suddenly it occurred to me that it was Friday.  I've been all mixed up on days because of the holidays, and forgot all about my blog.

I pretty much didn't think about yesterday being Thursday which is when I write my blog.  Aside from the holidays mixing me up, I had a surprise all day visit from my toddler grandson because his mother was sick.  I never had time to think about anything except him while he was over.

You could look at our house as being a fun zone as we have lots of toys and too much stuff, or you could look at it as being a danger zone because there is so much to get into.  There are no baby gates or child proof drawers, so he has the run of the place. which means he needs a monitor to keep him away from dangerous stuff.  When he went home , I rushed to my computer to make up for the lost time.

I am done with the holidays and glad to get back to all my projects.  Here in Southern California we've had a lot of rain, wind and cold -- not really that bad compared to real winter weather-- but not that pleasant either.  Now the sun is out, the sky is blue and the trees aren't doing the wind dance.  It's  a welcome change.  The generous amount of rain has made everything turn a rich green.  The oranges are getting oranger and the paper white flowers are blooming  filling the air with their strong scent.

Now to remember to write 2020.
