Writing Near The End of the Year

Yes, I’ve actually been writing!  No interruptions like the ones I’d written about during the last couple of weeks.

First, I’ve been working on a proposal for a new book that I most likely will be writing, though I’m not under contract yet.

I’ve also been working on my next Shelter of Secrets book for Harlequin Romantic Suspense. Always fun to figure out what’s going on in that very special animal shelter that takes care of people in trouble too.

Also, I turned in my manuscript for the HRS that’s due in February.

And this week, thanks to what time of year it is, I’ve worked on our annual letter that my husband and I send along with holiday cards to friends and family. That was interesting because I went back and figured out what we’d been up to this year, which involved even more traveling than I’d thought, despite the difficulty in traveling these days. But we were careful, and fortunately it all seemed to go well.

I do have holiday plans, mostly at home. And I intend to keep writing, too!

            Merry Christmas, everyone!
