Alaska Untaming Me

As I’ve been mentioning, I’ve been working on ideas for my second Alaska Untamed mystery for Crooked Lane—and looking forward to the publication of the first one in May: Bear Witness, with my pseudonym Lark O. Jensen.

I’ve got a plot in mind now and am beginning to flesh it out. I’m researching more about Alaska and its wildlife too, including TV shows I’ve recorded, photos and notes I’ve taken on Alaska cruises and more.

One reason I started this series was because of my most recent Alaskan cruise and the wildlife tours taken on it, a couple of years ago. And when I sold the first in the series and hoped for more, I looked forward to more cruises for research.

Before Covid. Oh, yes, someday I’ll want to take another Alaskan cruise, but I’m not ready yet.

But it’s definitely something I look forward to.

Meanwhile, I’ll keep on plotting and writing and having a lot of fun researching Alaskan wildlife that my protagonist Stacie Calder will enjoy watching and providing tours about—and maybe stumbling over more murders in this cozy mystery series.
