Beware!

Okay, it’s the Ides of March, so beware!

I finished my edits for CSI COLTON AND THE WITNESS, my Colton New York story for Harlequin Romantic Suspense, on time, but before I finished I received my requests for edits on BEAR WITNESS, my second Alaska Untamed mystery for Crooked Lane. Rather, my alter ego/pseudonym Lark O. Jensen did. I’m still working on them, or she is. Actually, it’s both of us.

And more rain here in L.A.! It’s calming down again soon, and I’m not sure when we’ll be done for the season. I’m glad we got rain but wish it hadn’t been so harsh and harmful to others—and I hope the authorities were able to save a sufficient amount in reservoirs so we won’t have as much of a drought as we’ve had recently after not-so-rainy seasons.

I could add more about my dogs here, since they still run my life, but I’ll wait till next time—unless they do something different in heir cuteness from usual before I post this!

Good morning -- Sounds like there was no rain damage around you -- but wow, the news is showing flooding, mudslides -- what a tragedy for so many. Rain is predicted for Phoenix today -- but so far, not a drop.

Arizona doesn't go to daylight saving time so we are the same time as California for these months. Saves having to change clocks twice a year but messes up tv watching -- everything is an hour earlier than it has been!! I've missed a few favorites!!

This is spring break week for my grandson so we're trying to do a few fun things. Fun for him involves eating -- he is a growing teenager with a huge appetite!! We're going to Golden Corral where he can eat to his heart's content!! I love their meatloaf.

Sounds like you and your alter ego have been busy, which is very good.

The rain just started -- very light sprinkles but hopefully enough that I won't have to water patio plants.

Enjoy your day and your dogs.

The rain's still here, Patty--had a wet dog-walk this morning, but it's supposed to end for a while.

I wish they would finally stop changing the clock for daylight savings time, but though they keep talking about it, I'm still finding clocks I forgot to change!

Hope you and your grandson have fun. And enjoy your day too.

I'm joining the ranks of pet owner again in a few months when I get a new kitten from the litter at my grandkids cat. I picked out a darling black one with touches of white on the nose and paws. I haven't had a pet for a while so I'm hoping for a smooth transition. They were just born last week so it will be a bit until they are ready to leave their mama. But, I'm excited.

Hope the rain stops in California. Yikes, it sounds like it has been a tough time. Such strange weather these days.

Have a great week!

Congrats on becoming a pet mom again when the time is right, Sally! My son has cats and has adopted them when they were young and on the streets, and they've definitely become family.

No rain here at the moment but it's predicted again in a few days.

And you have a great week too!

I was thinking about the ids of March, too, particularly since more rain had been predicted for Wednesday. But looks like at least as far as the rain was concerned, there was nothing too bad.
