As I mentioned last week, I’m in San Diego starting today for Bouchercon, a mystery conference. Not sure when I’ll be able to respond to any comments to this post, but I’ll give it a try. I’m not very techy, and I’ve been having issues both with my desktop computer and my laptop.
Anyway, at this moment I’ll be missing my dogs but know they’re being
looked after well by my husband, who’s most likely their alpha anyway. And dogs
will remain on my mind as I participate on the panel I mentioned last week: Mysterious
Creatures: Wild Animals and Pets. Plus, there’s another panel I’ll definitely visit,
on dogs in mysteries. I’ll attend other panels and events too, and mostly I’ll
be there to promote my Alaska Untamed mysteries and catch up with friends.
I did send off the manuscript for my fourth Shelter of Secrets
story for Harlequin Romantic Suspense so I don’t have to worry about that
deadline any longer.
So now--when you read this, I’m hopefully having fun!

Good morning -- Sounds like a busy, fun week for you. Your dogs are no doubt missing you as much as you miss them.
I'm watching the news of the hurricane in Florida -- what a mess. West coast last week, east this. Phoenix really isn't a bad place to live -- hot but rarely have really bad weather.
Enjoy!!
I've been seeing the Facebook posts about Bouchercon. It looks like a nice hotel with balcony's that have great views. Enjoy the conference!
Hi, Patty,
It definitely was a fun and busy week for me but I just got back. My husband brought the dogs to San Diego to pick me up and stay with some friends, which was delightful. Hope your weather remains okay despite the heat.
Linda
Thanks, Betty! My room wasn't one that had a great balcony view but the view it had, overlooking part of the water, was delightful.
