I'm Back!

            Yes, I’m back in L.A., though I didn’t make it clear here that I was traveling for the past couple of weeks. But it was easier to schedule my posts early than for un-techie me to try to post blogs while traveling.

Where was I? Well, it was our usual annual trip, where we visit family in Indiana since our grandsons love for us to be with them for Halloween. And then we went to the Baron Capital annual investors conference in New York City.

I’m not so much into stock market things, although my husband is. But I like to attend since I always enjoy the surprise entertainment at lunchtime and in the afternoon. Yes, I had fun there this year although I wasn’t as wowed by that entertainment as I sometimes am. We chose comedy at lunchtime, and the entertainer was Adam Sandler. He was somewhat amusing, but I’ve seen comedians there whom I like a lot better. The main entertainment was Justin Timberlake, and he’s definitely a good showman.

While in New York, we also went to a couple of Broadway shows. The comedy, which starred Danny DeVito and his daughter, was I Need That, in which he plays a senior hoarder whose family and friends try to encourage him to get his life back together. It was fun but a little strange.

The show I liked best was the musical about Neil Diamond: A Beautiful Noise. It was great! The performer who played a young Neil Diamond sounded just like him, and the story of his life, plus the dancers in the background, were all highly enjoyable.

Home now, and trying to catch up on a lot of things. I’d better get back to them now!

Oh, and by the way, the publication date for my second Alaska Untamed novel, CRY WOLF, occurred while I was traveling. Or, rather, Lark O. Jensen’s second novel—my pseudonym. I managed to celebrated on the road! And I'm still celebrating!
