I’ve been busy this week, attending an enjoyable graduation party over the weekend, and then, the next day, attending Bacchus Uncorked: Wine in Roman Life and Death at the Getty Villa along Pacific Coast Highway. And, yes, wine. Along with learning about their history, we got to sample many different types of wine based on what was created in ancient times.
Right now, I’m in between the publication of two books: My first Alaska Untamed mystery, Bear Witness, is now available as a paperback book published by Worldwide Mysteries, an imprint of Harlequin. Check it out on the website! https://www.harlequin.com/shop/books/9781335901422_bear-witness.html It’s still available as a hardback from Crooked Lane Books.
And my next book, Canine Protection, will be released soon. It’s the fourth in my Shelter of Secrets series for Harlequin Romantic Suspense, and it’ll be published in September.
Meanwhile, I’m now waiting to learn
whether my next series idea will be accepted by HRS. I’ve sent blurbs for what
could become the first three stories.

Good morning -- You have been busy -- lots of good things going on for you.
Rather quiet around here -- just hot, hot and hotter!! I go out as little as possible so that makes for lots of indoor crocheting time. I've almost emptied a bin of yarn -- still have three full plus a heaping basket and several stacked shelves so I won't run out soon.
Enjoy your day, your dogs and your thoughts for a new project.
Good morning, Patty.
It's cool here this morning but will be heating up this afternoon--the norm right now.
And at the moment I'm watching the pups stare out the front gate toward my husband, who's working out there!
Enjoy your day and everything you do too.
The event at the Getty Villa sounds great. You always have a lot going on. Good luck on the new series idea.
The Getty Villa event was definitely fun, Betty. And thanks!
