I've done it again. The holidays have crept up on me. It helps that the weather has warmed up and everything is looking green in the yard. It is so easy to just take one day at a time and forget that the future becomes the present.
Once I realized my editor wouldn't be looking at MURDER BY THE HOOK until after the first of the new year, I decided to go through it again. Now that some time has passed since my last go around with it, I am looking at it with a fresh eye. I am really enjoying going through it sort of as a reader who has the power to make changes.
I am finishing up making changes to my website for the upcoming release of DEATH AMONG THE STITCHES. And in the back of my mind, I am starting to think about the next Yarn Retreat book.
But next week, I'll set everything aside and go into holiday mode starting with Jakey's eighth birthday and then Christmas and Hanukah. I celebrate everything.
Happy Holidays!

Good morning -- Happy Everything!! I'm finished with all the holiday prep -- the house and patio look as festive as they are going to look. The family will be coming here for dinner on Christmas -- my granddaughter is making a green bean casserole, my son is doing yellow, orange and red peppers in the air fryer -- I'm doing the main course, a couple of sides and the cherry pineapple dump cake my grandson devours. I always try to do things that don't require a lot of last minute tending -- easy but yummy is my motto!!
Happy Birthday to Jakey!! And happy everything else to you!!
Just read the excerpt from "Death Among the Stitches" -- can't wait for Jan. 7 to get here!!
Patty, your Christmas dinner sounds wonderful. I hope you all enjoy. You must have seen my finally updated website if you read the excerpt. I
I remember when Jakey was born ! That can"t possibly be 8 years ago. I know what a joy he is to you , as all mine are to me. We will have all but one of the family groups here for Christmas. My stepson and family will remain in Virginia, and one grandson is in PA. My son has the largest house, and 2 of his boys have just become engaged. Looks like about 30 people. I was able to get a wheelchair service to take me back and forth, How I hope I will somehow improve enough to drive again, Have a wonderful holiday, My son assures me he has all the new floors back down after his water leak==I would roll in a hole !
There are a few lines of introduction at the site for Amazon pre-order. I have somehow lost connection to your web site--how can I find it again,
