Today is a special day for me, my wedding anniversary with my wonderful husband Fred! And it’s been quite a few years. No wonder I’m focusing on romances these days. Well, romantic suspense, though there’s nothing too suspenseful in my real life.
Meanwhile, I’m still finalizing the
edits on the first book in my new, upcoming Harlequin Romantic Suspense series
that’s still called K-9s and PIs. Things happening in my regular life, though
not especially exciting, have slowed me down.
I’m
still enjoying the republishing of my Alpha Force paranormal books about a
covert military unit of shapeshifters as ebooks. The last of the group are
becoming available, with their enticing new covers: UNDERCOVER WOLF and UNTAMED WOLF. Check them out on Amazon.
And
my sweet younger dog Roxie has slowed down, as if she doesn’t want to still be
a puppy. I’m taking her to the vet for a checkup, since that’s not like her. At
the moment, it’s very exciting when she jumps up onto a piece of furniture
without help.

Happy Anniversary!! Hope you and Fred have a wonderful day. If my first husband was still alive, we'd be celebrating our 71st anniversary this year. We had 45 years together before he died. I married again a few years later and we had 16 years before he died.
I've been doing my usual crocheting and puttering around my little condo. The big chore these days is cleaning the bird droppings off the patio each morning -- what a mess. Love the big tree for shade but not for the birds that perch in it, right over my Adirondack chairs!!
Today is my grandson's last day of his first year of high school -- the time has flown by. He's a good kid -- and a straight A student!!
Hope Roxie gets a good report from the vet. My daughter's dogs are adjusting to their new home amazingly well -- their foster dad trained them well and they follow commands. Dana lets them out, says "potty" and they do what's needed; then she says "porch" and they dash back to the door. They both like to be on her lap so she has a lapful of dogs most of the time, which suits her just fine.
Enjoy your day.
Thanks Patty! And it sounds as if you had some wonderful relationships.
Congrats to your grandson. And a straight A student? Wow!
Your daughter's dogs do sound well trained. My pups train me better than I train them! And they're lap dogs too. Roxie's doing okay but I'm looking forward to getting her to the vet.
Enjoy your day too!
Happy Anniversary! I hope Roxie is ok.
Thanks, Miriam! And check out my post today. Yes, Roxie's doing better.
