Well, half of the year is over. Hope it’s going well for you!
My writing is a little slow at the
moment since we have guests for a couple of days—one of my longest-time friends
and her husband! She was my college roommate…and that was a while ago.
Definitely fun to see them.
Had our younger dog Roxie at the vet
yesterday since her hearing seems to be going bad. Our older dog Cari started
having hearing problems at a young age thanks to a bad groomer, but we thought
Roxie would be fine…but that infection she had last month might have caused a
hearing problem. Now we have to work more with hand signals so she won’t be
able to use her hearing as much of an excuse for ignoring our commands!
Okay, I have a few minutes. Back to
my writing for now!

Good morning -- Amazing this year is half over -- time does fly!!
What fun to have a visit from a long-time friend -- enjoy!!
That is unfortunate news about your pup's hearing but hand signals should work well. One of my daughter's dogs is showing signs of severe anxiety issues -- the vet gave her some meds which, hopefully, will help calm him. She has a thunder shirt for the 4th of July -- who knows how that will work. I even feel a little anxiety with the loud boomings!! Fireworks are illegal but that doesn't stop a lot of people.
Enjoy your day and your visiting.
Still working on the signals with Roxie, Patty. When we're outside she sometimes dashes ahead of me without looking back, and that's when I'd like to give her commands!
Hope the thunder shirt and meds helps your daughter's dog. And we get to see, and hear, a lot of fireworks where we are on the 4th--overlooking the San Fernando Valley!
Enjoy your day too. And I am enjoying the visiting.
