I’m delighted that we had some
guests over the weekend—good friends for a long time! I mentioned they were
coming in my post last week. We got to see the Jurassic Park show at the
Hollywood Bowl, and attend a special wine program and tasting affair at the
Getty Villa—now open after the fire that fortunately didn’t harm it, but we saw
lots of scorched trees very close by. We also went shopping and ate at fun
restaurants and more.
Definitely fun! But writing? I
didn’t get any done, so now I’m working more on my current Harlequin Romantic
Suspense story.
My pups were happy to have guests
too. But though our friends were friendly to them, they didn’t want to play much
with the dogs. Our responsibility and enjoyment, after all, so we made sure the
dogs had fun, and also got reasonable amounts of food at reasonable times
despite our being gone over parts of the evenings.

Good morning -- Sounds like you had a really good time with your guests. There are so many things to do and see in your area.
It continues to be hot -- I continue to do any outside work early in the day, then stay in with the a/c on and crochet. I'm making a good dent in my stash but I do treat myself to a few new skeins of yarn now and then.
Enjoy your writing -- hope all the characters are doing what they are supposed to do.
Good morning, Patty. Yes, it was definitely fun to have those guests here.
Our weather continues to vary, although it does get hot in the afternoons.
My characters often tell me what they want to do, so that works out fine. And yes, I enjoy my writing. Have fun with your crocheting!
My son went to the Jurassic Park concert. It sounded really fun. It's nice that you got to enjoy some of the sights with your company.
It definitely was fun, Betty. And though we don't have overnight company much, this visit was quite enjoyable in many ways.
