Trying to Catch Up

       

            I’m delighted that we had some guests over the weekend—good friends for a long time! I mentioned they were coming in my post last week. We got to see the Jurassic Park show at the Hollywood Bowl, and attend a special wine program and tasting affair at the Getty Villa—now open after the fire that fortunately didn’t harm it, but we saw lots of scorched trees very close by. We also went shopping and ate at fun restaurants and more.

            Definitely fun! But writing? I didn’t get any done, so now I’m working more on my current Harlequin Romantic Suspense story.

            My pups were happy to have guests too. But though our friends were friendly to them, they didn’t want to play much with the dogs. Our responsibility and enjoyment, after all, so we made sure the dogs had fun, and also got reasonable amounts of food at reasonable times despite our being gone over parts of the evenings.

            Now, I’d better get back to my writing!
