Yes, I'm
back, and you probably didn't know I was gone, since I left last Thursday and
returned yesterday, in between my posts here.
And I didn't happen to mention my trip here before.
Where was
I? In Puerto Vallarta , for a family destination
wedding! Our nephew married his
long-term girlfriend.
The wedding
was by the beach and beautiful. Lots of
our family plus some friends were there, so the trip was really fun, too. The
ceremony on the shore at sundown seemed amazing, a whale appearing briefly,
then fireworks, drinks and dinner afterward.
Other meals
there, too, were amazing. Then there was
sightseeing in the area, viewing many species of birds that were different from
those we see at home, iguanas everywhere, grandkids swimming with dolphins, shopping...
definitely an enjoyable time.
And oh, by
the way, I happened to finish a very rough first draft of my last Alpha Force
Harlequin Nocturne before I left.
Yay! Thanks to my way of editing,
I brought along a printed version and didn't have a lot of time to work on it,
but I managed to get a bit of editing done.
Plus, while I was traveling, I learned of some additional edits needed
for my next Barkery and Biscuits Mystery.
So, it's a
good thing I'm fairly well finished with my holiday visits and travels and
events. I can get down to editing and
finishing my new manuscript as well as fixing the other one. Still a busy time to come!
