Here I Am

And I've posted this entry on time. I hope. At least I thought about it in time.

Things do seem to be changing a bit. More people seem to be talking about travel--including my family and me. We'll see what this year brings. But it helps to have gotten the vaccination, though some of what we're considering would involve seeing family members who haven't gotten any yet. I've heard various things about who can transmit and who can become infected, as well as whether things are improving or not, and if they are, then how much. I just want all of us to stay safe and well!

Meanwhile, I've been writing--surprise, surprise. I'm currently working on a synopsis for one of the Colton Harlequin Romantic Suspense books I'll be writing, combining characters and chronology. It's fun to do, even though it's not actually writing the book--yet.

I'll be taking both dogs to the vet today.  One is due for shots and the other will get a blood test to see how her new meds are working. I feel sorry for both of them but, hey, I had needles put into me recently too.

BTW, Happy March, everyone. Today is 3/3!

It feels like things are looking up. I read that there may be indoor dining and stores with higher capacity in the next few weeks. We've all gotten so used to the restrictions, it will probably feel strange and maybe even uneasy as we venture back to what used to be taken for granted.

Hope it goes well with your vet trip. It's probably as hard on you as it is on the dogs.

I've heard that some states are opening up completely. I doubt that's a good idea, but I certainly miss when we could do it all.

And thanks for your good wishes about the dogs, Betty. We're home now and they both did fine--but of course I worried about them!

I am embracing some new freedoms even though Florida is one of the states to almost fully open months ago. Kind of took our time getting out into the world again. I'm looking forward to the day when we can move about without masks. Although I'm pretty sure that day is still far into the distance. Wearing a mask in Central Florida in the summer is no fun. Probably the same in California. Happy Writing.

I agree that masks are no fun in California, Sally. I get breathing issues and foggy glasses. But I'd rather stay safe and try to help others around stay safe. And thanks!
