I am in the home stretch with MAKING IT WRITE. I have been doing a final going over of the manuscript this week which was a little more intense than I expected. It turned out to be more than proof reading. But I haven't detected any holes in the plot and feel confident it will be ready to send off on Sunday.
Christmas was a blur. Thanks to some family members reaction to the omicron, our plans fell apart and turned into only seeing them on FaceTime. It seems like it has rained every day and been cold. After so much dryness, the wet is good. But I'm ready for some sunshine.
And now it's New Year's eve. I'm actually glad to be spending it at my computer.where it's cozy and warm. The Rose Parade is returning and I guess people will be camping along the parade route. It makes me shiver to think about it.
I don't make resolutions. At this point everything is so changeable, it seems pointless to make plans. The best we can all do is roll with the punches and hope for the best.
Happy New Year. May it be a year filled with good things for everybody!

Happy New Year to you!
I'm excited to read more of your books and your blog.
chkntza, thank you. I sent off the manuscript and much as I claim to want a breather, I'm anxious to work on a proposal that's been rolling around in my mind. Or it could be that it's more appealing to write than deal with all the laundry and mess waiting for me.
Hope your new year has started great! Happy 2022.
Thank you, Linda. I wish you the same!
