Back to Writing

I’ve been home for a while now after our wonderful kidsitting excursion. And I’ve been writing.

Some of what I’ve been doing is editing one of my upcoming Harlequin Romantic Suspense stories.

And as I mentioned a few weeks ago, I’m also working on my second Alaska Untamed mystery for Crooked Lane.

The idea is progressing well, but I’d love to be able to research it more in person, which isn’t going to happen right now. And so, I’m using what resources I can to research Alaskan wildlife and animal sanctuaries, along with pictures and notes from past visits. Plus, I’ve been plotting, including what happens to whom in this next story.

What else am I up to? Well, I’m waiting for a new puppy!. We’ve put a deposit on a very young pup to become our Cari’s companion, and we’ll bring her home in a couple months when she's ready to leave her mama. Not sure what Cari will think of that. She’s been enjoying all the extra attention she gets after our loss of Mystie, and soon she will have to share again. But one of the main reasons for getting a new puppy is to give Cari more companionship. Hopefully she will adapt quickly.

Thanks, Betty. Looking forward to getting her but I'm sure there will be challenges.
