Writing and More

Okay, I’ve accomplished some writing since my cruise trip. I’m not as far along as I’d like to be, but I’m making progress. And that’s a good thing!

Also a good thing is that it’s November, and I have a new book out this month! It’s SHIELDING COLTON’S WITNESS, my part of the Coltons of Colorado series for Harlequin Romantic Suspense, the Coltons series of 2022.

The story I’m working on now is my part of the Coltons NYC series—for 2023. Yes, there are a lot of Coltons in the world, different parts of a very large family whose members get involved in various aspects of law enforcement. And yes, since it’s Harlequin Romantic Suspense, those members also get involved in romances too.

I enjoy writing about both, and reading them too.  I don’t get to add dogs to these stories unless they’re already there, since I’m given a “bible” to work from that contains all the stories in that series, including mine, and though I sometimes need to add a character, dogs aren’t among them.

But it’s fun being a part of a group of authors writing very different stories, yet tied together by the Colton family and all of its many members and escapades. And I definitely enjoy reading the books my fellow authors have written in the respective series in which I participate, as well as writing my own parts.
