A lot of those promotional and other events I
mentioned last week are now occurring—or have already occurred.
Last weekend I attended the joint holiday party
for the Sisters in Crime and Mystery Writers of America Los Angeles Chapters.
Yesterday was the Coltons of Colorado Party on
the Coffee, Cupcakes and Contemporaries Facebook group page that featured my
Coltons book this year, SHIELDING COLTON’S WITNESS, along with others in the
Coltons of Colorado series for Harlequin Romantic Suspense.
Yet to come? Well, Friday is the Second Annual
Holly, Jolly Holiday Party on the Coffee, Cupcakes and Contemporaries Facebook group.
And this weekend is the special holiday party for the Cavalier King Charles
Spaniel Club of Southern Calfornia.
Plus, Los Angeles Romance Authors is having an End
of the Year Party.
All fun—but one other piece of good news? I’m
really close to finishing my first draft of next year’s Coltons book.
What are the most fun events of your holiday
season, including getting together with family?

This year everyone is making up for the lost get togethers of the last few years. We have one or two events a week, sometimes more. I'm happy for it and trying my best not to eat all of the Christmas goodies. We are spending Christmas in Arizona with our daughter's family. Feeling very thankful and blessed at this time.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours.
You're right that everyone is trying to get together this year now that we can, and because we couldn't for a while, Sally. You sound busy too in a good way. Christmas in Arizona with family sounds fun. And I hope you and yours also have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
The holidays are so much more fun with an almost six year old. And his birthday is two days before Christmas. Thanks to everything, he really hasn't celebrated it for years. He is all excited about it this year.
How fun, Betty. Wish we could spend more of our holidays with our grandkids. But there's a fun-sounding holiday party being planned in our area by another relative, so that's good.
