Of course it’s a wonderful week since we just celebrated Christmas and the end of Hanukkah. But even more, we were invited to a holiday celebration on Christmas with family who live here and others who were visiting and having a great time—and in walked our family members who live in Indiana, our older son, d-i-l, and grandsons! A total surprise to my husband and me, although some of the others were aware they were coming.
Hope you are enjoying the end of this year—and Happy
New Year to you!

What a nice Christmas surprise!! We had a good holiday -- breakfast at my son's, then dinner here. My daughter-in-law and grandson flew to Illinois late in the day to spend time with her family -- thank goodness, no problems with weather. Yesterday I asked my grandson if he'd built a snowman -- he said he was afraid he'd freeze to death if he went outside!! They'll be back in Phoenix on Saturday.
It's raining here -- good day to stay in and crochet -- almost done with a blanket to add to my stash for Project Linus.
Enjoy your day --
Patty
Sounds as if you had a good holiday Patty. And glad there's been no problem with weather for your traveling family! It's been raining here but not at the moment. We're always happy to get rain, even though our dogs' paws need a cleaning after a walk even if we don't otherwise get wet.
And enjoy your day too.
Linda
What a wonderful surprise. I'm sure it made your holidays even nicer. Happy New Year!
It certainly did make my already fun holiday season even better! Happy New Year to you, Betty.
