March Marches On

I’m getting busier again. For one thing, I just received the initial edits for CSI COLTON AND THE WITNESS, my Colton New York story for Harlequin Romantic Suspense, so Ill be working on that for a while.

Plus, as I mentioned, I’d been plotting my next Shelter of Secrets story for Harlequin Romantic Suspense—the fourth.  I have a good idea where I’m going with it now, and I’ve started writing it.

Tomorrow, at  7 PM Eastern time, I’ll be on a New Releases Chat on the Writerspace  Facebook page, so come visit me, and the other authors with new books this month. I’ll be promoting  my latest release again: UNDERCOVER COWBOY DEFENDER—the third in my Shelter of Secrets series for Harlequin Romantic Suspense.

At the moment, the weather in L.A. has calmed down, although they’re predicting more rain this weekend. People are still stuck in the snow in nearby mountains. I feel sorry for them—even as I still enjoy seeing the snow-capped mountains in the distance from my home.

Our pup Roxie has been spending a lot of time on my lap as I write, although she’s not there now. And our other dog Cari and she seem to enjoy playing together and sleeping side-by-side even more. Definitely fun to observe.

Good morning -- You are indeed busy -- keeps you out of mischief!! I've not read any of your Colton series -- have to have a look at those.

Weather is so nice here -- mid-70s up to 82 by the weekend. I'm going to my son's today to help him with yard work -- repot a few things, dispose of any plants that are looking shabby and just generally have a good time with him. I love working in the yard -- I was a certified Master Gardener in Texas. My yard was "Yard of the Week" several times, designated as such by the local newspaper. Now I am satisfied to have houseplants and potted things on the patio. I've learned that plants that grew in full sun in Texas can't survive that way in Phoenix -- they burn to a crisp.

I've seen pictures of the houses buried in the snow -- so sad. It must be a monumental job trying to clear away enough to get in and out of the house.

Enjoy your day and your dogs --

The weather in the California mountains has been stunning. I am thankful for the peaceful weather in Florida at this time. Of course, we never know what hurricane season will bring.

Wonderful to be busy. You have so many exciting projects. I'm going to try to tune into Facebook. Good luck in all you do!

Mischief, Patty? Me? :) Sounds as if you're a wonderful person to have help with yard work. Wow--certified Master Gardener? That's great!

Glad your weather in Florida is good now, Sally. And I hope to hear from you at the Facebook party!

Totally missed the Facebook party. We had an exciting event at our son's house. Six new kittens. They are so cute and friends are already clamoring for one. Hope all went well.

The Facebook party was fun, Sally, and sorry you missed it. But you clearly had a good reason. Congrats on the new kittens!
