I wanted to let you know that I’ve been told that Chirp, which has published some of my audio books, will have a collection of my Pet Rescue Mysteries on sale for about a month, starting on Saturday, July 26. That collection includes: Beaglemania, The More the Terrier, and Hounds Abound together, and the discount is substantial. They’ll apparently be available individually for a discount too, although the better deal appears to be all three.

I’m making progress on the draft of
my second book in the K-9s and PIs series. Things keep coming up to slow me
down, but I definitely enjoy the story!
More minor doggy illness to keep me
busy with them. And I’ve had to put the older one, Cari, on a diet. She’s not
happy about her treats slowing down. You should see the way those demanding and
sad eyes look at me…

Good morning -- Sounds like a good book deal -- I've read a few of those and enjoyed them.
Hope Cari is soon svelte again. Dieting is no fun for anyone, man or beast!! Sorry there are health issues.
I continue with my crocheting -- taking a stash of blankets to the Ronald McDonald House today, then my son and I are lunching at a favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Their food is so good.
Enjoy your day,
Thanks, Patty. I always hope people enjoy my books, both reading them and listening to them!
I just wish I could explain to Cari that our cutting back on her food isn't an intent to torture her. But she'll have to deal with the diet even though it's not fun for her. Of course I'm giving her lots of attention and hugs.
Enjoy your crocheting, visit to Ronald McDonald House and Vietnamese lunch--and the rest of your day!
My poor kitty was fat shamed at the vet last week. She is one pound overweight and believe me she has been steamed about a lack of treats from me. Poor baby. Dieting struggles are real.
Oh, no, Sally. Poor kitty! Our vet was at least nice to Cari about it, most likely blaming us and her possible health issues. And I wish it was only one pound Cari has to lose! Yes, dieting struggles are real.
Having pet health issues is always difficult. I hope Cari adjusts to her new level of treats. Too bad you can't explain to her that she will feel better.
I try explaining to Cari, Betty, but she just continues to stare pleadingly at me!
