Little Progress

I was hoping I’d be able to mention this week that my cell phone issue is resolved, and I’ve been able to jump back into my writing full time.

            Hah.

A step has been taken, sure. I finally received a label to send back the new phone I received with the wrong number on it, and did so right away. But so far the provider isn’t acknowledging its receipt, so trying to return to the store and get the rest worked out hasn’t happened.

Will be digging in further this week to hopefully, finally get things resolved—and get back more writing time without spending a lot more time on this issue.

I also lost a couple days of writing time last week for another reason, but a good and happy one, a short trip to visit old friends and some of my husband’s family, one of whom was celebrating a milestone birthday. One of our sons stayed with the pups, who were happy about that.

Anyway, I’m still working on my current Harlequin Romantic Suspense Story, making progress though more slowly than I prefer.

And as I said last week about the phone situation, wish me luck!

It is such a pain to have to waste a lot of time on something like your phone. I hope you get it resolved without too much frustration.

The trip must have been nice. It's great that you have a family pet sitter.

I'm sure you will get back to your writing routine. Sara Paretski wrote a whole post how writing had become harder for her now, but she wanted to do it anyway. I'm with her.

Oh, yes, Betty, I've been frustrated about the phone situation!

And we do have a regular pet sitter whom we really like, but when she's not available we often rely on our younger son, who is also great with the dogs.

I'm getting back to my writing routine somewhat, but I suppose it's been changed.
