Oops, sorry. Once again I’m late
posting this. I’ve been rather busy, dealing now with book edits and
preparation for the first book in my current K-9s and PIs series for Harlequin
Romantic Suspense to be published, even though it won’t be till sometime next
year.
Plus, I still have the deadline
looming on my current manuscript.
On top of all that, I had a problem
logging into Killer Hobbies!
But at least my phone issue is
resolved, fairly much. I do have a new phone now but I’m still trying to figure
out how to use aspects of it as well as some of the apps I had on my prior one.
The instructions don’t seem to fit some of the time.
My dogs are definitely helping, as
always, with my frustrations. They don’t exactly calm me down with all the
playing they want to do, especially Roxie. But at least they do get my mind
directed other ways when it needs it!

Getting a new phone is like moving into a new house. You know your stuff is in there you just don't know where. As today is 9/11, I was reflecting on the changes in the world since that horrible day. We didn't have social media. Can you imagine what it would have been like with everyone blowing up their phones with photos of that horrible day.
Time has moved on but I wonder what we've learned. Time to replace the negative with some positive. I've put out some autumn decorations and mums outside. Yay! Holidays on the way. Happy weekend!
I not only don't know where all the stuff is on my new phone, Sally, but I still haven't figured out how to get it to talk to me--with the right kinds of notes when I get texts, for example. At least I determined how to change the song to something I like when I get a call.
And remembering 9/11 is so sad and difficult.
How fun that you're already decorating for the holidays! And happy weekend to you too.
It's seems like there is an obsession with changing things. Even things that don't need to be changed. Good luck with your new phone.
Thanks, Betty. I'm getting used to the phone but still feel a little frustrated about things I haven't figured out yet.
