Sad and Inspired

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Jane Goodall this week. I know she was up in years so her loss wasn’t entirely unexpected, but it’s still sad. Hearing so much about her in the media has inspired me. All she did to learn about and help wildlife, especially chimpanzees, is very inspirational. It’s clear from social media that she was revered by many people, including other wildlife experts, film stars and more.

As I’ve mentioned here before, I’d already been pondering another series, one with wildlife in it, and her messages that have been in the news about saving the world and its animals, including one interview designed only to be made public after she was gone, and how people should learn more about themselves as they help others, have definitely been inspirational. Still don’t know what my stories will be, but I’m working on them!

Yes, I’m also still working on the second book in my K-9 Crime Solvers series for Harlequin Romantic Suspense. Making good progress, I hope. But more writing and editing to come.
