Merry Christmas!

 The holiday season continues on!  So do the many issues of 2020. I'm still in lockdown in L.A., though I do manage to get out for important stuff, like food. But time marches forward and I have three upcoming writing deadlines, one each in January, February and March.  I should be able to meet them just fine, but it still sounds a bit scary to realize they're that close together. 

I got to see the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn this week. It was visible early in the night sky just down the street, away from the moon,  and over the hillside from me. Amazing!  And different from the bad stuff that's become the norm this year.

Christmas arrives very soon, yet another milestone to pass these days. And yes, another good one, although getting together with family in person isn't going to happen--except for our pups, and maybe a careful visit from our younger son, who's local.
