Happy Blog Day—er, Happy Birthday to some of my dear family members.
I haven’t written or edited much over the past few days because I was at a family reunion in Ohio at my husband’s family farm. The time was chosen because it was my husband’s, and my older grandson’s, shared birthday. It was so fun to see everyone, spend some time with them, do things together.
Of course I brought things to work on but didn’t really want to spend much time away from family while we were all together. We shopped together, played miniature golf (I lost), ate lots of meals together, took a boat ride over a lake near where some relatives live, and got a lot of pictures taken professionally around the farm, in poses similar to other pictures taken years ago.
Now I’m home and have a lot of catching up to do, including with the dogs—although we did have a great sitter taking care of them.
And the trip was
definitely worth it!

It sounds like a wonderful trip. I bet it was great to see everyone and be out and about.
