It was one of those good writing days. Veronica got in a situation and I just kept thinking of more and more things that could happen and all with a character that was more or less a phantom before, but is now vying for a bigger part.
I donated three books a fund raiser for Ukraine that just ended. I was happy that all three were bid on. There were so many books donated and services, I thought mine might get lost in the shuffle. It's with great pleasure that I will inscribe the books and send them off. Whatever they raised is a drop in the bucket, but still better than nothing.
I've been stuck dealing with an allergy attack all week. I seemed to have inhaled something had made my eyes waters and a lot of random sneezes. After doing a bunch of research online about comparing, colds, covid and allergies, No sneezing with covid. Colds come with aches and pains and possible fever. I had no achy feeling and no fever. All of them have a symptom of fatigue and I sort of had that. I didn't want to take any over the counter meds as the side effects sounded worse than how I felt drug free. I read somewhere that an allergy attack can last for a week or so and it does seem to be waning now that it's been about four days.
I used to be horribly allergic to cats-- like I couldn't see where I was going with how much my eyes watered. And then it disappeared and a face full of cat fur didn't even cause a sneeze. I'm sure the cats living with me now appreciate that. The one we call Kitten even though she's over five, loves to stick her face in mine. And Buttercup has that long kind of fur that would have caused me no end of misery.
I love how long the daylight lasts. I started some tomato plants and pots of flowers.
I'm hoping tomorrow will be another good writing day. I love it when I can't type fast enough to keep up with the words.

Sorry about your allergy attack, Betty. I know how un-fun that can be. And great idea about donating books for a Ukraine fundraiser. Hope you feel better soon and have many other good writing days.
Thanks. Linda. The allergy seems to going away with only an occasional sneeze. Maybe the rain helped.
I also get seasonal allergies. I used tu take Sudafed non drowsy but now you have to sign your life away to get it. Apparently you can make bombs with it. I wouldn't know where to start nor would I want to. I don't want to get prescription meds so I like over the counter. Last time cvs wouldn't even talk to me about Sudafed. They suggested cvs 24 hour allergy pill. I was skeptical but I tried it and it did a pretty good job. I have to have non drowsy. My nose runs so much that I need it to stop.
