I am down to the final day before KNOT A GAME is due. I need to type in the recipes and pattern and proof read and then send it off through cyber space.
I have been working day in and day out. Some days like today, I was at the computer for 11 hours. It got to be habit so I didn't notice everything I've been missing. I have a pile of magazines to read. I haven't posted on Facebook in what seems like forever. I did make an occasional look at other people's posts and added a comment here and there.
Other than the news and an old sitcom just before bed so I go to sleep with a smile, I haven't watched TV. I am behind in emails, and my house is a mess. I haven't done any more cooking than to pour salad into a bowl.
Not that I noticed any of the above or minded. It was just day after day I kept at it. I'm actually surprised that I really finished. I just remember being on page 30 and wondering if I could find enough words to fill the rest of the pages.
Now it feels like it was all magic.
